Description
The 50:50 beamsplitter (half-mirror) is used in fiber communication testers and in LD laser pumps and LED IR receivers of fiber digital transmission to split and recombine optical paths. Applications: blue/green/red lasers, laser pumps, optical test instruments, digital and biological microscopes, biometric devices, spectral analyzers, medical optics, stage laser lights, digital cameras and fiber communication equipment. Sizes include 2×2×0.3 mm, 18×20×1.0 mm, 15×18×1.0 mm, 50×50×1.0 mm and 100×100×1.1 mm; glass thickness options 0.1–3.0 mm. Typical single-wavelength splitting: 355, 475, 488, 532, 650, 850, 940, 1064, 1310 and 1550 nm. The multilayer dielectric vacuum coating has no metal absorption — transmission plus reflection totals nearly 100%.
