Description
The HWB black glass is an infrared-transmitting / visible-absorbing cut-off filter: specific elements in the black glass absorb spectra before 760, 780, 800, 830, 850 or 930 nm and transmit beyond, with the neutral wavelength remaining unchanged for different incidence angles — an economical infrared longpass filter. Characteristic tables and curves below. Widely used in security monitoring, surveillance cameras, remote controls, IR detectors, IR-sensing toilets and soap dispensers, LiDAR, robots, drones, IR printers, IR touch screens, fingerprint recognition and face recognition.
