Description
The SP590 shortpass filter selectively transmits light below 590 nm (UV, blue, green, yellow) and efficiently blocks light above 590 nm (orange, red, near-IR). It is widely used wherever short-wave signals must be isolated from long-wave interference: green fluorophore/protein signal separation, water-quality analysis, light-source shaping, visual sorting and flow cytometry.
