Description
The IR650 infrared cut-off filter (IR Cut Filter 650, SP650) is a short-wave filter that highly transmits the visible band and deeply blocks near-infrared light. It is widely used to remove IR interference in drone imaging filters, security monitoring, CCTV CMOS/CCD color cameras and fingerprint recognition systems. Silicon sensors are sensitive from ~350–1100 nm; without IR blocking, daylight causes strong red/pink color casts and blurred detail. IR-Cut650 is switched in front of the sensor in daylight for true, natural colors and works with night-vision switching; it also suits creative photography, machine vision, phone cameras and AR/VR optics.
