Description
The gold-coated mirror uses the reflection properties of a metal film to control or manipulate light paths: light incident from a lower-index medium reflects at the metal film surface. It reflects most of the energy of high-power lasers as well as visible and infrared light, with an attractive golden surface. A chromium underlayer increases adhesion and film strength, and an MU2 protective layer can be added — full-band reflection with uniform, pinhole-free films.
