Description
The LP590 longpass filter selects and transmits light longer than 590 nm while cutting off shorter wavelengths. Manufactured from high-quality optical glass with precision thin-film coating, it offers steep cut-on slope, high transmission and high background optical density compared with conventional colored-glass filters. A further advantage: as the angle of incidence increases from 0°, the cut-on wavelength shifts toward shorter wavelengths — useful for fine spectral tuning of optical systems. Applications include medical detection, beauty devices, multi-band inspection, stage lighting, digital imaging and biometrics.
