Description
The LP500 longpass filter blocks light shorter than 500 nm and transmits wavelengths above 500 nm. It is widely used in medical and biological analysis instruments — as an emission filter in fluorescence microscopy, biochemical analyzers and flow cytometers — and in phototherapy beauty devices, where it removes short-wave light below 500 nm and passes the long-wave band used for photorejuvenation.
