Description
The LP570 longpass filter transmits wavelengths longer than 570 nm — green, red and near-infrared light — while blocking blue and violet light below 570 nm. In beauty devices it penetrates to sebaceous glands for effective acne and pore treatment, and is used in hair-removal and photorejuvenation machines. In fluorescence detection with a single dye, it blocks excitation light and passes fluorescence to maximize signal collection, sensitivity and accuracy; it is also used in optical imaging and measuring instruments.
