Description
The LP425 longpass filter is designed to transmit light at wavelengths longer than 425 nm while effectively blocking ultraviolet and blue light below 425 nm (blocking band 350–430 nm, OD3–OD6). Because UV radiation is potentially harmful to skin and eyes, this filter is widely used to strip unwanted short-wave light in medical and cosmetic devices. Typical applications include fluorescence detection, iris recognition, multi-band inspection instruments, laser hair removal and photorejuvenation equipment.
